Joy's Opinion On: AIM speak
I'm sorry to pretty much everyone who visits my blog, and I'm not meaning to offend (though I probably will anyway), but AIM speak annoys me sometimes. Yes, I'll admit that at times I'll use it, or I won't use proper grammer and capitilization, but how would you like it if I wrote stuff in this manner:
so ne way, i tottally g2g, so ill ttyl, cuz my mom told me 2 make a cake 4 2morrow. my gma is coming @2. lol austin just imed me and.......blah blah blah
Ok, I'll be honest with you, I'm not so much annoyed with the "lol" thing, especially when used in AIM conversations, but when someone has a blog (or a personal website) and they use AIM SPEAK ON IT!!
But back to that AIM speak sentance up there: if any one who was new to the English language read my blog, all they'd see would be numbers and symbols, and words that didn't make sense.
I mean, Hello? Most of us passed 3rd grade for a reason.

Hey Amy! You're here! I didn't think that any of my friends checked the blog anymore. I just sorta got back into it, so keep checking and commenting! I can't go on without comments!
It was just by chance that I checked. I thought I'd go to all the blogs for old time's sake and lone behold! Someone updated! Lol! I update mine often so make sure you visit alot! lol!
Although that is true i have a question if they were new to english how would they know how to type and use the internet and somehow know that there is a thing called blogger? LOLAnywho thats beyond the point! but the other bad thing about im is that strangers can take addvantage of youu and then trick you into meeting them then getting killed. i still like to do it still though!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO never i met people in general you know like the ones on the radio and commercials! i would never meet anyone over the computer unless there was an adult with me!
Um. You don't have to know English to use Blogger. I know lots of people from like the Netherlands and stuff who use it.
