Joy's Opinion On: Pre-teen/Young-teen Dating Relationships
Hey, why is it that when shallow teenie-boppers who "date" for looks, they can say, "I love you, baby" all the time without a problem, but when a serious relationship arises (when you're actually old enough to marry) you have a hard time with saying "I love you." Because you're not sure yet if you really do, and when you're ready to say it, you have to really really mean it.
And how the heck can 11-year-olds know what boy/girl love is? I don't even know! It annoys the heck out of me when I see pre-teens/young teens dating eachother; cause it's not even dating. It's John saying to Suzie, "Will you sit with me at lunch today?" And Suzie replying, "But won't people think we're boyfriend/girlfriend?" And John saying with a smile, "Yeah." And then Josh asks Suzie to sit with him the next day, and she replys with the same question, to which Josh answers with the same old line. So go ahead, you 12-year-olds who were wetting their beds three years ago and are not sure what the radical of 225 is, you date on to your heart's content and look at me like I'm crazy cause I've never had a boyfriend. I'll tolerate you for one reason: Because I'm better than you. Sorry to break it to you, but it's better to hear it from me than someone like...you're boyfriend, or mom...

Another good one Joy! I don't get that either darling. I mean come on! Lol! It's so dumb, but I have to imform you that I didn't "wet my bed" when I was 8! Lol! Aparently you weren't thinking clearly when you wrote that! Whatever! People always tease me when I play with Michael wich bugs the heck out of me because I don't have a crush on him or anything! I mean we're just friends! Grrrrrrr!!!

I know what you mean about the teasing. It's so annoying when you don't want to bring romance into the picture, but other people desperately want to be your match maker. They're just bored individuals who torture young children.
Oh, and about the wetting the bed thing. I wet my bed once when I was 8, and some people still did it regularly then. Plus, it was an exageration. But that you for pointing that out. =D

Hey i have a very good story of what not to do if you like someone. This is a true story about what happened to me like a week ago. Now it was a dance and there this guy who i like alot there and he came talking to this kid in my class named Justin. My crush named Jack( so i can use names lol these are the real names too) then walked away and I went up to Justin and asked him if he knew Jack, he did and he implied a very stupid thing. He thought that since i wanted to know if he knew Jack he thought that i would want to go on a date with him. ok i am only 12 and i definatly am not ready for that yet i mean come on. Any way he told Jack that i liked him and then told him i wanted to go on a date with him which made me so mad. I ran into the bathroom and yess cried for 5 minutes then i looked in the mirror and my makeup was dripping. Heres a tip never wear makeup when you cry.Anywho i wiped off the dripping mascara and went out read y to kill Justin.But i didnt do anything i just told him that he was retarded and i gave him a tiny kick and said never make a girl cry theres a hint for you. Then i saw Jack and he ran into the bathroom and i pushed Justin in the bathroom telling him to apoligise to him about this. Then Jack came out the dance was no longer fun for me i didnt want to dance i just wanted to be alone and the way i saw it thats what Jack wanted to but then i finally got my guts together and walked over to him, i appoligised about justin and he thought that Justin was a jerk and he asked me to dance. I was like whoa he asked me to dance. He asked me to dance 3 times after that and then one of his freinds told me that he liked me as a friend. So he did like me which is such a relief to me and i was so happy. I made a friend that is really cute. At leat he didnt think i was ugly and weird for liking him. He liked me and thats all that mattered.So the lesson is well just make sure you make careful actions and i got a good thing out of this thing. All of this is true i am dead serius and yeah i thought i would trell since your post was about boyfriends. Well i have a friend thats a boy.
Wow, you're lucky that you can have a boy friend (not boyfriend) your age. All guys my age are creepy, and say inappropriate things about me so I can hear. You're very lucky indeed...I just want a boy friend who I don't have to have the pressure of liking...
i know really that was a awesome experience for me but i was so mad that night and happy at the same time. lol
