Ok, if you know me, you know that I'm really not this dumb. It just shows up in my writing, Ok? Got that? Good. Now, if you don't know me, then why are you reading my blog? So get going; there are plenty of other eligible young stalketts.

An Ode to Rememberance

This is simply a story about the "old times", as I was thinking about all the things we did as younger folk. The following tale is of "The Deasert Bird Gang":

Remember when I formed that gang? The whole idea originally evolved from playing "Secret Gangs" with my cousins at my grandma's old house. Ah, I remember the times we would hide away in the upstairs bedrooms, holding our "Secret Meetings" complete with door passwords, hand signals no one used, and a list of rules that weren't followed. We even had established ranks. Our one and only goal, was to spy on the "Other Gangs." One of our enemy gangs was Grace and Rebecca's, who would do the same things we would. The other gang that apparently ivolved Christopher and Joel didn't exist, so there was no threat there. After our cousins moved to Isreal, I started a more modern and improved version of my old gang called, "The Deasert Birds," with this girl I knew named Sierra. I was the president, she the secretary, Grace the treasurer, and Christopher, Joel and Rachel were various "spies" or "messangers" or even "pets." Our code names always had "Deasert" then a bird at the beginning (example: My code name was Deasert Golden Eagle). We invented easy-to-crack codes that weren't remembered, member signs, and even more door passwords. Sierra and I then lost most of our contact, except for an occasional birthday party or get-together. Still obsessed with my gang, I decided to relive it with my new friends: Katie, Amy, Christina, Emily, Alex and Dd. Most of you won't remember being apart of this gang, since some of your memberships were figments of my imagination. I do remember, however, that I gave Dd and Alex membership cards after they agreed to be in my gang. I, as always, remained president (my powerful position giving me control, as I always liked to have), while Grace lost intrest, but was persueded my me to stay on as a bouncer (somebody who throws out annoying, drunk and generally unwanted people). Wow, even then she had beastly biceps. Eventually the group dispersed due to lack of interest and lack of any purpose. If any gangs (or groups of any kind) shoulde now be formed, I prefer them to be groups of purpose, like a Chain Story group.
Lingering in the past is an enjoyable pastime...

Now you dudes send me your "Odes to Rememberance." Think of a time a while ago that involved all of us doing something together...

Joy's Journal of Randome Fate Part II

Hello from the Darling house. I got here on Wednesday, and am going to be here until Friday or Saturday. It's been a good time getting to know my new nephew, Elijah Cole, and playing various games with the ever energetic Andrew. Well, it's actually not true that he's always energetic, because he's had a few meltdowns lately due to sleep deprivement. A few days ago, we packed a picnic dinner, then headed to Wescott Bay (or Harbor, or Beach; I don't excactly remember). There, we grilled and ate cheddar-wurst and beer-wurst sausages. The cheddar-wurst is like a hot dog with melted cheese inside, and the beer-wurst is like a slightly alcaholic saugage. I liked the first, but not the second, since sausage makes me feel sick. Anyway, after dinner, I took Andrew down the lakeside, which had sand at the edge (and it's lake Ontario, so it's kind of like the Ocean). He threw rocks and sand into the lake while I waded in up to my waist. One word of advice for Todlers with sand and rocks: Stay out of throwing range. They will hit you if the opportunity arises. I waded in with Andew a little, but he didn't like it as much as I did. Since it was the evening, it wasn't hot enough to actually swim, but fourtunately, we went back the next day when it was STIFELING!! Sunday, we went to Water Safari (YES). It was great. This morning, we went to an Aqua Zoo with Faith's Stay At Home Mom's Group. They had all kinds of fish, a small freshwater dolphin (smaller than my forearm), an octopus, and three sharks in this big tank. It was really freaky staring at them swimming behind the glass, just imagining what it would be like to be stranded in the middle of the ocean with one of these villanous creatures. Well, I'm probably boring you with this long post, so I'll end it.
